With so much westernisation of Indian food in this part of the world, I don’t want my kids to forget what the real deal is, so I started exposing the family to authentic Indian flavours from different regions of India. Being that the climate is cold and not always conducive to outdoor ventures, I started grilling most our foods in order to create an outdoor experience, since both, my family and friends were enjoying it. This coupled with our second love – Hakka cuisine (Indo-Chinese), that is so unique to India, and is another family favorite, have become the staple at home.
